Audiocaster.io – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Audiocaster.io and related applications, tools, and services. By using Audiocaster, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Audiocaster Service
“Audiocaster Services” include:
- Podcast hosting and RSS distribution
- Embeddable web audio players and widgets
- AI creation tools (voice models, AI scripts, AI mastering, generative SFX)
- Creator monetization tools (donations, paid episodes, ads)
- Analytics dashboard
- Third-party podcast platform distribution
- Community features and communication tools
- Audience contact list tools (email + SMS)
- Future mobile apps for iOS/Android
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are:
- At least 18 years old, or 13+ with parental permission
- Able to enter a binding contract
- Using the Service where it is legally available
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must keep your login credentials secure.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Audiocaster offers free and paid plans.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
- Paid plans and AI credits are billed according to current pricing.
- Taxes may apply based on your billing location.
- All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
5. Privacy & Contact Lists
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data.
For Podcaster-managed contact lists, you agree that:
- You are responsible for obtaining valid consent from subscribers.
- You must comply with laws such as CASL, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.
- You may not upload purchased or scraped lists.

6. AI Tools & Voice Models
6.1 Inputs & Outputs
You may submit audio, text, or other materials as AI input and receive AI-generated outputs. You are responsible for your use of AI outputs.
6.2 Voice Cloning Requirements
- You may only upload your own voice or a voice you have legal consent to use.
- No cloning of public figures or private individuals without explicit consent.
- No use of voice models for fraud, impersonation, or misinformation.
6.3 Training Policy
- Audiocaster does not train generic AI models on your content unless you explicitly opt in.
- If you opt in to voice training, your recordings may be used only to train your model or improve voice features as disclosed.
7. User Content & Distribution
You retain ownership of all content you upload. You grant Audiocaster a license to host, process, and distribute your content as required to operate the Service.
If you distribute your podcast to external platforms, your content is also subject to their terms and restrictions.
8. Monetization
Where available, you may enable:
- Listener donations
- Paid episodes
- Ads
You are responsible for taxes, compliance, and accurate payout information.
9. Prohibited Uses
- Illegal content or activity
- Copyright infringement
- Spam or unsolicited messaging
- Unauthorized voice cloning
- Deceptive synthetic media
- Attempts to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
10. Intellectual Property
Audiocaster retains ownership of the platform, software, branding, and all associated IP. You may not copy, resell, or misuse these assets.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with external platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Their terms apply separately.
12. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content hosted via Audiocaster infringes your copyright, contact:

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or accuracy of AI outputs.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Audiocaster’s total liability shall not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid in the past 12 months.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Audiocaster against claims arising from your use of the Service or any content you upload or create.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Toronto.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may close your account at any time.
18. Mobile App Terms
When using iOS or Android apps, you must comply with the relevant App Store terms.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance.
